Muskoka Veg Fest  is a plant-based, dairy-free, meatless festival that showcases great food, entertainment and cruelty-free products from conscious minded individuals and businesses.

Bringing a collaborative celebration of animal welfare, health, and environmental education to showcase the benefits of a vegan lifestyle. 

Come sample amazing vegan food, listen to engaging speakers, watch food demos and learn from the many plant based professionals about what inspires them to live a Veg lifestyle.

What is Muskoka VegFest?

Muskoka VegFest is (will be) a yearly festival that takes place in Muskoka, Ontario.  The festival celebrates a compassionate, healthy, plant-based lifestyle and features vendors, exhibitors, speakers, activities for kids, prizes and more!

How much are tickets?

Not much in life is free,   but this event is!

Where is the Festival?

This year’s Festival is located at the River Mill Park in Huntsville, Ontario.

River Mill Park is located at 10 King St (@Queen St), in the heart of downtown Huntsville.  Formerly known by the locals as the Planing Mills property, it is just one street over from shops and restaurants on Main Street and is nestled beside the boardwalk and public boat docks. 

Will the Festival be held rain or shine?

Yes

Will there be food at the festival?

Absolutely! Many of our vendors will have food for sale and to sample.  Bring your appetite!

Are there ATMs at the Festival?

There are no ATMs inside the Festival grounds, though there are 3 banks with ATMs within walking distance.

Plan to bring cash, although some of our vendors do accept credit cards as well.

Is the Festival fully vegan?

YES, the event is fully vegan (no animal products anywhere). We showcase how delicious, varied, and all-inclusive a cruelty-free lifestyle can be!

Do I have to be vegan or vegetarian to attend Muskoka VegFest?

Absolutely not! Everyone is welcome at the festival! 

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

For the most part, yes, persons who use wheelchairs or who have other mobility limitations will find the facilities at River Mill  Park easily accessible.  That said, in the case of rain the day before or the day of, the grass portions of the park may be difficult to traverse.

A few accessible parking spots will be designated at the River Mill Parking Lot.

If we are driving by car, where can we park?

Convenient, free parking is available at the following locations:

Public Parking Lot -- Minerva St E Between West St S and Centre St S

Royal Bank Parking Lot  -- Corner of West St N and Caroline St E

Dollarama Parking Lot -- Main St between John and Chaffey St (aka West Rd)

Street Parking where applicable (Main Street has 2 hr limit; all others are not limited)

Please note that the parking lot AT the park will not be available for parking at the event due to vendor space.

 

Will there be activities for kids at Muskoka VegFest?

Yes there will be.  At this point we are working to build a children’s program.
